- players normally FYPD eligible who are posted (aka Yamamoto, Sasaki, etc.) are eligible for free agency instead of fypd
- comp picks earned in free agency via QO are for following season (more time to trade them, plan around them, etc) - health of league implementation
- update payouts, check with huskies
- change BV calculator so that year 5 is 60% of AAV instead of 70%, and that year 6 is 50% instead. Makes shorter term contracts more competitive
- allow previous season cut long term contracts to be accelerated in future offseasons for remainder of penalty
- change the ML thresholds for pitchers so that it's either games started OR appearances, to make it more friendly to starters (applies to minimum games to be eligible for ML and appearances for ARB purposes)
- allow teams to have multiple open nominations (2x?) during FA
- waive for demotion: allow teams to waive a true MLB player, and if they re-acquire them during the waiver process, they will be allowed to send them to the minors; if they recall during season, would need to re-waive them again to be eligible for demotion. Would allow teams to clear a roster spot during season of albatross contract, and let them cut at discount in offseason instead of sucking it up during season. And still allows other teams to acquire them via waivers. Will add stipulation that if another team puts in a claim for the player, even if their waiver priority is below original dropping team, they would receive priority for the player.
- Allow to eat full contract value in trade, as opposed to leaving just $1 left over
- Playoff rosters: all pickups for playoffs must be done by noon eastern of monday of first playoff day (or one hour pre-roster lock, whichever is earlier). At this point, roster must be legal (ie, no ML40/50 in lineup, all spots filled with legal MLB/ML1/2 players). Once this time has passed, players may move MLB contracts into minors and ML40/50 into lineup as they wish, but no more players can be picked up (unless a player moves onto IL)
- Cap pitching bench at 6 players (implement over several years, so next year 8, year after 7, then 6, for contract reasons), enhances value of ML1/2 pitchers, curbs some level of extreme streaming
-change playoff tiebreaker so h2h record is first, then seed
-Make the lotto only impact the first round; second and later is reverse standings for lotto teams (playoff teams remain unchanged and is by outcome)
